Heathfield Road: Sitting on the edge of Wandsworth Common, the site had been considered un-developable by the local authority for ecological reasons. The concept of a series of cascading flats and maisonettes set within landscaped terraces and courtyards which maintained visual access across the site was agreed in principle. These contrasted with an elegant white tower at the intersection of Heathfield and Windmill Roads.
